Nicole Aichele - Barrel Racers National 4D Champion 2008

Meet Nicole Aichele, from Walla Walla, WA. She was the 2008 Barrel Racers National 4D Champion for 2008 in Pasco, WA.

Here is a blurb about her from her myspace page:
For those of you that don't know me very well, let me clear the waters. I barrel race. A lot. And happen to have a passion for it. I also love trick riding, and have been doing it for about 5 years now. Rosie & Blondie are the most amazing horses ever. Salily and Tank are my future barrel horses. Butterball is my trick horse. I am vegetarian, and have been for 7 years. I am a pro at working arenas, its kind of an obsession. I try to make things perfect, and doing so usually causes disasters.

Congratulations Nicole! Check out Nicole and her horse Blondie:

Our Sassy Little Cassie

Cassie wearing Reese

We want to introduce you to Cassie Bastien and her new horse, Shyanne Deebar Cash.

Cassie is 15 years old, she going to be a sophomore in High school this year. She is the 2007 Contract act of the Year with Mid States Rodeo Association. Cassie is a Trick Rider and Trick Shooter. We are very proud to have her on our Petrol team.

When we asked her to tell us a little bit about herself, here is what she said:
ok well lets see her...I started vaulting (gymnastics & dance on horseback) when I was 9. I've always gone to rodeos with my dad Chris. And I saw one of the acts, it was a trick rider. So that's what I've always wanted to do. Then I started performing in rodeos. I just love it! Interacting with the people is also a love of mine. I just love putting smiles on kids faces...its so cute! :)

I have a few different acts, one of which is a Any Oakley act involving guns, whips, balloons and much more! The crowd loves the high action and loud sounds. I am currently working on a comedy act...that should be a blast!!

Chance was given to me by the owner/boss of the Flying Star Rodeo Co. He is a red & white paint, shire thoroughbred cross. 17 hands tall. Chance's mother and father were both professional bucking horses in the rodeos. While Chances mother was giving birth, she died and Chance was stuck half way out at the hips. He did not walk for the first 2 weeks of his life, and was bottle fed. Its a miracle he is still here! He's an amazing horse with alot of personality and heart! He's proven to everyone that no matter where you come from, you can still proceed in life at something great. I'm so proud of him. He's definitely a horse to be looking out for in the future. He loves the big crowds and they love him even more. wow, that was alot! :)

Have a wonderful holiday!Cassie

JJ Harrison - Petrol Posse Rodeo Clown Extraordinaire

What can we say about JJ. He has been such a blessing for us. We are very proud to have him as our official rodeo clown. Please enjoy this letter from Holly McLaughlin at Enrodeo.com. She is also the photographer.
Dear Petrol,
There is NO WAY possible I can describe how hard J.J. worked for Petrol and how awesome he was in Spray. I have seen J.J. at quite a few rodeos and never have I seen him in the rare form he was this last weekend. I missed several shots due to his jokes and antics as I was laughing so hard I forgot why I was in the arena.

He is brilliant and would love to tell you about it sometime but no way can I in an email. UNREAL

He LOVES Petrol - and from what I could tell incredibly honored and loyal to you. J.J. sold your company with 200% respect, humor, and effort. Those seat cushions seemed to be a real hit as well as the t-shirts.
